Dr. Stacy Ammerman is a board certified OB/GYN and the founder of Maui Lani Gynecology. She received a B.S. in Biology from San Diego State University, and obtained her medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her medical training was completed with a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. She is a NAMS certified menopause practitioner and is board certified in obesity medicine. Stacy is passionate about women's health, especially midlife and menopause care, and she aims to share this specialized expertise with her community. 

She is a strong advocate for women and enjoys empowering them through knowledge about their bodies and health. A wife, dog mom, beach lover and avid reader, Stacy loves being under water and cooking gourmet meals on her days off. 

Jenean was born and raised in Upcountry Maui. With an undergraduate degree is in Public Health from the University of Washington, she attended the UH Manoa Masters Entry Program in Nursing. After completion of her RN year, she moved back home to Maui and worked in the ICU. As a nurse practitioner she worked as a hospitalist at MMMC. She is thrilled to return to women’s health with Maui Lani Physicians and is grateful for the opportunity to serve her Maui community.

She loves educating women about their bodies, prevention, and health promotion. She hopes to support her patients to make the best choices for their body and invest in their health. Jenean is married and a mom of 2 boys and a dog. In her spare time, Jenean is adventurous and loves food, travel, and all things vitamin SEA.

Kristi Sloderbeck was raised in Central Indiana. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Indiana University and her Master's of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. 

Kristi has always worked in Women's Health and Obstetrics. She is a strong advocate for trauma-informed care. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, kayaking, and watching sunsets.

Makana Surprise grew up between Oahu, Hawaii and Chandler, Arizona. She returned to Hawaii for college where she completed a bachelors of science in Kinesiology at UH Manoa and then received her masters degree in Physician Assistant studies from Northern Arizona University. 

She enjoys providing comprehensive gynecologic care to women of all ages. She provides services from preventative care to treating acute problems. Makana enjoys educating women about their bodies and empowering women to advocate for their health. 

When she isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and their two dogs. She also enjoys reading, paddle boarding, swimming and traveling.
